RAP has a large number of dogs available for adoption.  Below are a few of the best candidates for adoption.

PAOLA
Paola and her brother, Mauro, were found in abandoned in garbage can. We would love to see these dogs get adopted together. Paola is a very sweet dog and will make a wonderful companion.

Health Status: She has had all her shots, she is de-wormed and is spayed. She was born in Fall of 2006, we think.

MAURO
Mauro and his sister, Paola, were found in abandoned in garbage can. We would love to see these dogs get adopted together. Mauro is very active and is a very sweet dog.

ALAN
Alan was rescued from the street as a very young puppy. He is a mixture of Shepherd and Xoloescuintle (Mexican hairless dog). He is very affectionate and needs a lot of love.

Health Status: He has had all his shots, he is de-wormed and is neutered. He was born in January 2008.

BRUNO
Bruno was very sick when we found him and he suffered from mange as well. He is a very loving dog and will make a very affectionate companion.

Health Status: He has had all his shots, he is de-wormed and is neutered. He was born in 2005, we think.

DINA
Dina is a Shepherd mix. She is nervous around people and needs special attention. She is an excellent guard dog.

Health Status: She has had all her shots, she is de-wormed and is spayed. She was born in Spring of 2008.

GERARDO
Gerardo is a very affectionate and playful dog. He is ready for adoption and will be a great companion.

Health Status: He has had all his shots, he is de-wormed and is neutered. He was born in Spring of 2008.

KIMBERLY
Kimberly is a shy at first but is a very affectionate dog when you get to know her.

Health Status: She has had all her shots, she is de-wormed and is spayed.

LOBITO
Lobito means “little wolf” in English. Lobito was very badly hurt when we found him, he had severe injuries to his face. He was also very insecure, but he is recovering.

Health Status: He has had all his shots, he is de-wormed and is neutered.

MARIA
Maria was found in the Costco parking lot, she was starving and in very bad shape. She is a lovely dog. She loves to run, so you need to be careful that she doesn’t escape.

Health Status: She has had all her shots, she is de-wormed and is spayed.

SANDI
When we found Sandi she was pregnant and had been hit by a car. The pups didn’t survive. Sandi had a long recovery but she is healthy now. Sandi is a very affectionate dog but sometimes needs some time to get used to other dogs.

Health Status: She has had all her shots, she is de-wormed and is spayed. We think Sandi was born in Summer of 2007.

PIERE
Piere was found under a car in downtown Cancun. He was so weak from malnutrition that he couldn’t walk. He also had a terrible skin problem. He is healthy now and is a very affectionate dog.

Health Status: He has had all his shots, he is de-wormed and is neutered. We think Piere was born in 2003.

SUSANA
Susana is an older dog. She was found suffering from severe malnutrition, all her hair had fallen out. She is healthy now. She is an easy and calm dog and will make a great companion.

Health Status: She has had all her shots, she is de-wormed and is spayed. We think Susana was born in 2001.

WALLAS
Wallas was abandoned at our shelter when he was a puppy. He is nervous around people and needs special attention to make him comfortable.

Health Status: He has had all his shots, he is de-wormed and is neutered. We think Wallas was born in January of 2008.

VALERIA
Valeria was dropped off anonymously at our shelter when she was about 1 month old, along with her sister Cassandra. Valeria is nervous around new people, but gets comfortable when she knows people. She is a great dog.

Health Status: She has had all her shots, she is de-wormed and is spayed.

BLANCA
Blanca was rescued from the dog pound, where she would have been put to sleep. She was rescued along with her 7 puppies. Blanca is a very calm dog and has a lovely temperament. She is ready for adoption.

Health Status: She has had all her shots, she is de-wormed and is spayed.

ESTELA
Estela was rescued along her two puppies, Eduardo and Ernesto. All of them had been abandoned and were starving. They have recovered and are ready for adoption.

Health Status: She has had all her shots, she is de-wormed and is spayed.

ERNESTO
Ernesto was rescued along with his brother, Eduardo, and his mother, Estela. All of them had been abandoned and were starving. They have recovered and are ready for adoption.

EDUARDO

UVA
Uva means “grape” in Spanish. We named her this because when she was a puppy she was round, just like a grape. Uva is a very affectionate dog and loves attention. She is also a good guard dog.

Health Status: She has had all her shots, she is de-wormed and is spayed.

PRISCA
Prisca’s former owner was ready to abandon her when RAP rescued her. She is a very active dog and pays close attention to everything. She is an excellent guard dog.

Health Status: She has had all her shots, she is de-wormed and is spayed. We think Prisca was born in Summer of 2007.

RAUL
Raul was rescued along with another dog. He was severely malnourished. He is nervous people and doesn’t like being touched. He is an excellent guard dog.

Health Status: He has had all his shots, he is de-wormed and is neutered. We think Raul was born in Spring of 2008.

LALA
Lala was rescued along with another dog. She was severely malnourished. She is distrustful of people and needs special care. She is an excellent guard dog.

Health Status: She has had all her shots, she is de-wormed and is spayed. We think Lala was born in Spring of 2008.

JUNE
June was rescued from a very abusive situation. She was suffering from human bites and was badly traumatized and very scared. She has recovered and is a much more secure dog now. She is ready for adoption.

Health Status: She has had all her shots, she is de-wormed and is spayed.

DRILO
Drilo and his sister Coco (Cocodrilo means Crocodile in English) were abandoned at the office of a local veterinarian. Unfortunately Coco didn’t survive. But Drilo is a still here and is ready for adoption.

Health Status: Drilo has had all his shots, he is de-wormed and is neutered.

BRENDA
Brenda was found near Walmart, she was suffering malnutrition and had a bad case of mange.

Health Status: Brenda’s health has returned. She has had all her shots, she is de-wormed and is spayed. We think she was born around December 2007.

CARLOTTA
Carlotta was rescued, along with her 7 puppies, from the street. Not all of her puppies survived. Carlotta is a very nice dog and will be an excellent guard dog. She is ready for adoption.

Health Status: Carlotta has had all her shots, she is de-wormed and is spayed.

JUANA
Juana is a very easy-going dog. She is great with people and is a perfect candidate for adoption.

Health Status: Juana has had all her shots, she is de-wormed and is spayed. We think Juana was born in Winter of 2006.

BORA
Bora was found in a garbage dump when she was just 3 weeks old. She is a very loving mix of Australian Sheep Dog and something else. She is a lovely dog who needs a good home.

Health Status: Bora has had all her shots, she is de-wormed and is spayed. We think Bora was born in January or February of 2008.

HEIDI
Heidi was found wandering in the middle of a busy highway with her 4 puppies. The puppies all have new homes now. Heidi is a friendly, loving dog awaiting a good home.

Health Status: Heidi has had all her shots, she is de-wormed and is spayed. We think Heidi was born in Summer 2007.

WHOOPY
When Maria Alicia found Whoopy she was being beaten and kicked by her previous owners.  Whoopy was covered in fleas and ticks.  Maria Alicia convinced the owners to let her have the dog.  Despite the abuse she received Whoopy is a friendly and trusting dog.

Health Status: Whoopy has had all her shots, she is de-wormed and is spayed. We think Whoopy was born in Spring 2008.

BRUCE
Maria Alica found Bruce in the middle of a busy highway.  He was just skin and bones and a bad case of mange.  She stopped her car right there while other drivers honked at her and she tried to catch him, but he ran.  Finally a passerby was able to grab him.  He was in bad shape, but he made it and now he is a happy, healthy dog.

Health Status: Bruce has had all his shots, he is de-wormed and is neutered.  We think Bruce was born in Spring 2008.

MILAGROS
Milagros was found in a very busy street.  When Maria Alicia tried to catch Milagros she ran and got hit by a car.  Her injuries weren’t too bad and she kept on running.  Maria Alicia searched for Milagros for more than 9 hours before finding her again.  Finally they found her and treated for her injuries.  She’s a kind, intelligent and lovely dog.

Health Status: Milagros has had all her shots, she is de-wormed and she is spayed. We think Milagros was born in Summer 2008.

FIONA
Fiona was found while Maria Alicia was searching for another dog that had been reported to RAP as needing assistance.  Fiona was in terrible shape when found, she was skinny and starving.  Fiona needs to gain confidence, but when she is more comfortable she will be a lovely dog.

Health Status: Fiona has had all her shots, she is de-wormed and is spayed. We think Fiona was born in January or February of 2008.

RENATA
Renata is one of Maria Alicia’s favorite dogs.  She is intelligent, protective, gentle and loving.  She’s housebroken as well.

Health Status: Renata has had all her shots, she is de-wormed and is spayed.  We think Renata was born in Summer of 2007.

ADRIANA
Adriana was found late at night after she’d been run over by a car during very heavy Cancun traffic.  Because of the severity of her injuries she has some twisting in her leg, but she is a healthy and playful dog now.

Health Status: Adriana has had all her shots, she is de-wormed and she is spayed. We think Adriana was born in Spring 2008.  Adriana has some twisting in her leg but it does not prevent her from living a healthy life.
