What We Do

RAP is the first animal shelter in the history of Cancun. RAP is also running an accessible animal clinic in Bonfil which is the first of its kind in the area.

RAP - rescued puppies - Cancun, Mexico

RAP rescues animals in need and then works to rehabilitate them and find homes for them. Currently our focus is primarily dogs. We plan to expand to cats as soon as we move to a larger facility.

Through outreach work and through our clinic RAP is working to educate and help pet owners and the public in order to reduce the population of unwanted animals in Cancun. We focus on sterilization and work to help people understand how important it is to both sterilize and vaccinate their animals.

RAP makes a difference one animal at a time.

Future Expansion of RAP

RAP is working on a capital campaign that will raise enough money to allow us to buy land so that we can build a permanent facility.  The facility will be larger than what we currently operate and will allow us to expand to help cats and other animals in need, in addition to the dogs we help now.
